To prepare men and women as leaders who will stand up and be a voice of Biblical standards and values, as a lighthouse to lost humanity, giving them hope and showing them a way to “cities of refuge” in Christ Jesus… Leaders who will pursue, overtake and recover all in the Spirit… To provide restoration for the weary minister and rekindle their fire for God and a passion for His people.

Schedule:

Vanguard classes are held on Monday evenings, 7:30-10:00 pm, at our Philadelphia campus, 7759 Frankford Ave., in Northeast Philadelphia. Classes begin in September and run 36 weeks.

Ministry Bio/Information:

Vanguard is a ministry of Living Waters Ministries, Inc., Pennsylvania, and is a Christ-centered, Holy Spirit-filled, Bible-based, Full Gospel Christian leadership training center that is balanced and power-packed. Living Waters Ministries was established by Pastor Bill & Marilou Stewart on February 1, 1987, and was Incorporated as a Non-Profit Religious Organization on June 8, 1992.
Pastor Bill and his wife Marilou were ordained into the ministry by Living Waters Community Fellowship of Turnersville, NJ (AKA) Faith Christian Fellowship of Tulsa, Okla., in September 1987 and are currently active, ordained members of Covenant Ministries International, Inc., Fort Myers, Fla., and Faith Covenant Ministries, Sicklerville, NJ.
The faculty of Vanguard is made up of men and women of integrity and accountability who are endeavoring to comply fully to the Word of God. They are born-again, Spirit-filled ordained ministers with current license serving faithfully at their ministries – servants who know they are called of God to minister and are qualified by the Word found in I Tim. 3:1-13, with evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and at least one of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit present.

Admission:

We at Vanguard believe that the entire Body of Christ has been called to be kings and priests in His Kingdom and are called to raise up a standard of His Holiness in the midst of a wicked and perverse generation.
Therefore, the Vanguard student must have a born-again experience, be of good moral character and possess the basic academic skills sufficient to undertake this type of training. Admission to Vanguard is granted to applicants meeting these requirements without regard to age, race, color, sex, national origin or denomination.
